.ships + life.

I just love this quote by Grace Murray Hopper

"A ship in port is safe, but that is not what ships are built for. Sail out to see and do new things." Grace Murray Hopper

Do you know who Grace Hopper was? Before I share any quote, I always like to research the individual it is attributed to, just to make sure I am sharing something reputable. I was blown away while reading a short biography of Rear Admiral Grace Hopper.  Grace was instrumental in bringing computers to where they are today. And she coined the term "debugging" because she pulled an actual moth out of a computer. How sweet is that? Something I thought was cute: she was initially turned down for her military service because she was 15 lbs below the minimum weight of 120 lbs. what a legacy of courage, perseverance, and ingenuity.
